Hand-carved fine porcelain luminary
There are multiples of these— small variations in size & shape to be expected as these are made by hand.
Glossy interior finish to make it easy to clean off soot and wax.
Exterior finish can be matte, glossy, or semi-matte (glossy in carved grooves, matte on un-carved surface). On a densely carved pattern like this one the difference between semi-matte and glossy is much more subtle.

Candles in glass or plastic cups will glow more than metal cups.
